Dear Kimisis Family Members,

THANK YOU for another record-breaking  Festival. Thank you to all who worked so hard and contributed to our 2007 Festival which is now #1 on the list of our Festivals with a net profit of $78k, beating our previous record of $70k.

It is said that "enthusiasm and energy move the world". It was those two ingredients, especially the first one, a beautiful word of Greek origin which means having God inside you, that were embedded in your behaviour and were critical to the success of our Festival. This was truly an amazing feat were people of all ages from youngsters to elderly volunteered their services for five days, some more and some less, toward a common goal of serving their Church and Community. Whether you helped set up, break down, bake food and pastries, decorate, prepare foods, park cars, clean tables, serve food, sell raffle tickets, work in admissions, games and rides, serve beverages, obtain permits, apply for insurance, advertizing and marketing, donate supplies, be a sponsor, your dedicated time and services were immeasurable. Like a puzzle where all the pieces need to fit perfectly the job was well done.

For the family members who did not participate this year, please plan to volunteer your services at our next year's Panagia's Festival, which has been scheduled for June 5th-June 8th, 2008. You may find that "Serving, laboring and sweating for your Church and Community" can be a a gratifying, spiritual and addictive experience.

Efharisto/Me agapi/Nasthe panta kala kai tou Xronou,

Dimitris Geaneas
